Frequently asked

Who can become a Scout?

Anyone over 18 with a smartphone and a payout method. You must live in or regularly visit one of the featured cities to qualify for bonuses, but Scouts worldwide are welcome at the standard rate.

What counts as a valid submission?

A real local business (restaurant, shop, service provider) with a clear photo of the storefront, sign, or menu, correct address and category, and not already in our database. We dedupe automatically.

How long until I get paid?

Submissions are reviewed within 48 hours. Verified entries are added to the next Friday payout batch.

Is there a cap on how much I can earn?

No hard cap, but very high-volume Scouts are manually reviewed to keep quality up. Top Scouts in featured cities currently earn $200–500 per week.

What if a submission is rejected?

You get a short explanation (blurry photo, duplicate, wrong category) and can resubmit. Rejected submissions don’t count against your standing.

Can Scouts submit their own business?

Yes — but only once per business. Use the standard business-submission flow for owner-verified listings.
